Alaska State troopers are investigating a domestic violence assault involving a pregnant victim in the community of Emmonak on July 27. Troopers were notified of that assault on July 30 at 8:20 AM.
It has been reported since that time, that the victim “lost her child due to unknown circumstances before delivery,” the trooper dispatch reports.
Troopers have opened an investigation “regarding the loss of the fetus and any correlation, if any, to the assault is continuing.”
Any charges, if warranted, will be forwarded to the Bethel District Attorney’s office upon completion of the investigation, Trooper state.
