At 6:19 pm, a report went in to the Alaska State Troopers of an armed robbery in Houston at the Little Miller's Market along the Parks Highway.
When troopers reponded, their investigation and the statements of witnesses revealed that the robber, armed with a shotgun, held up the store and demanded money from the employees. After receiving the cash, the robber promptly left the store. Witnesses were unable to say which direction that the suspect went.
Witnesses describe the robber as being in his early 20s, wearing a black ski mask, a green hoodie, and tan Carhartt pants. He also has brown, or dark eyes, according to witnesses.
No one was injured in the robbery and witnesses say that although the suspect had a firearm, he never pointed the weapon at anyone.
