Troopers Seek Second Suspect in Connection with Attempted Murder of Caswell Lakes Man

Alaska State Troopers report that they have located the vehicle and one of the occupants that they began searching for on Friday in connection with a shooting that took place in the Caswell Lakes area near Talkeetna on Friday. The second suspect, his brother, 26-year-old Nicholas Ganoe is reported to be still at   large.

28-year-old Charles Ganoe of Anchorage was arrested over the weekend and charged with Attempted Murder I and Assault I after an investigation found that he and his brother, identified as Nicholas Ganoe, were involved with the shooting of a 42-year-old man in the Caswell Lakes area.

Although the second suspect N. Ganoe, was not located, an arrest warrant for Attempted Murder I has been requested and issued. 

The 42-year-old victim, who was shot at his residence, was transported by EMS to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers are asking the public for information on the whereabouts of Nicholas Ganoe, who is “considered to be armed and dangerous,” and request that information be called in to the Alaska State Troopers-Alaska Bureau of Investigations at 907-352-5401.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
