Donald Trump decided on Tuesday that he is running for the presidency of the U.S.

Reality TV star and real estate entrepreneur Donald Trump made it official and added his name to the growing field of candidates for the Oval Office on Tuesday.

Telling watchers and reporters on Tuesday, Trump said I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again,” in a 45-minute-long speech. Trump hit of his “Make America Great Again” campaign from the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York.

As the centerpiece of his platform for president, Trump pointed to his wealth and his success during his lengthy speech, letting the world know that he is worth $8.7 billion. “I’m using my own money. I’m not using the lobbyists, I’m not using donors, I don’t care. I’m really rich,” said Trump, he says that that kind of wealth will let him rid himself of special interests that control politics in America and allow him to self-finance his campaign. To that he added, “I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created.”

“I’ve watched the politicians, I’ve dealt with them all my life,” Trump said. “They will never make America great again. They don’t even have a chance.”

Of the 11-candidate field he has just joined, he said, “Politicians are all talk and no action,” said the nation’s newest candidate. “We have losers. We have people who are morally corrupt. We have people who are taking the country down the drain.”

Trump has a long campaign ahead of him if he is going to convince Republican voters to elect him as president. Less than half of all Republican voters have a negative impression of the billionaire. But, he remains confident and believe that voters will take him seriously now that he has made his intentions clear. Trump’s political adviser, Corey Lewandowski, said before Trump’s speech that all that will change, saying, “We can change that dynamic in 15 seconds by Mr. Trump sending out a press release saying he’s running for president.”

Along with his pro-business and free market platforms Trump is campaigning on a strong pro-military stance, Trump said he will keep Iran from building a nuclear weapon, and defeat ISIS. On the home front, he says that he will build a wall across the U.S.-Mexico border and make Mexico pay for it. As far as health care is concerned, he will repeal Obamacare.
