Two Arrested during Soldotna Property Recovery Monday

 

Alaska State Troopers conducted a property recovery response at a Kimberly Lane address in Soldotna on Monday that resulted in the arrest of two individuals, troopers have reported on the trooper dispatch on Tuesday morning.

AST responded to the address at 2:50 pm, conducted an investigation, and made contact with Soldotna resident Jennifer Louise Bishop, age 38. As the investigation played out, they also discovered Palmer resident Garret Len Bishop, age 28, hiding in a closet in the residence. Before he could be taken into custody for his outstanding warrants for Assault I -Domestic Violence x2 and Assault IV-Domestic Violence x2, he sprinted from the residence.

G Bishop was captured a short distance away and taken into custody on the warrants as well as Disorderly Conduct. J Bishop was also arrested on the charge of Hindering Prosecution I.

Troopers transported both to Kenai where they were remanded to the WWildwood Pretrial Facility.

G Bishop’s bail was set at $5,000 while J Bishop was held without bail.
