Alaska State Troopers report that warrants have been issued in a Nash Road burglary in Seward where two Seward men are accused of stealing over $25,000 worth of items from a home in the past several days.

According to troopers, Lucas Mcalary and Chet Brewi, both 22 years of age, have been identified as suspects in that case where the homeowner alleges that two diamond rings, a .25 caliber handgun and a black Gibson Les Paul guitar were taken during a burglary this month.

Following a preliminary investigation, AST requested and received warrants on charges of Burglary I, Theft I, Theft II, Criminal Mischief V, and Possession of Stolen Property on both suspects.

Troopers are requesting assistance from the public as to the whereabouts of Brewi and Mcalary.  Persons with knowledge on the two men are asked to call Seward-based troopers at 907-262-4453.
