Alaska State troopers revealed on Tuesday that they had received a report on Monday afternoon reporting that an unknown suspect had stolen prescription medications from a residence in Hydaburg.
The complainant told troopers on Prince of Wales Island that at about 8:30 PM on Sunday night, “an unknown suspect came to the complainant’s residence and asked to use the restroom.” The victim let the unknown person use their facilities, then after that person departed, the homeowner would find that all of their “prescription medications were missing.” the victim put the value of the medicines at approximately $500.
The caller reported nothing else was stolen or damaged.
