Wanted Palmer Woman Found Hiding Behind False Wall by Troopers

Palmer Troopers report that they had gone to a Lazy Mountain address on Wednesday night for a disturbance call. During their investigation, they were informed that a woman named “Alice” was a witness to the incident.

After leaving the residence, the troopers further investigated the incident, and determined that the woman identified as “Alice” was in fact 31-year-old Alice Lee of Palmer. Their investigation into Lee would find that Lee was wanted on three active warrants stemming from a Failure to Appear on the original charge of Theft II, Failure to Comply with Probation on the original charge of Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, and Failure to Appear on the original charge of False Information.

Troopers went back to the Lazy Mountain address to conduct a follow up interview, During that second investigation, troopers would locate Lee hiding behind a false wall in an upstairs bedroom at the residence.

Lee was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where she was remanded without bail.
