Wasilla Man Arrested on Charges Including Attempted Coercion

image16-11-2015 09.05.57A Wasilla man was arrested by troopers on Saturday after it was reported that he had attempted to coerce another with indecent photos via text troopers reported on Sunday.

The ensuing trooper investigation found that 45-year-old Vincent Schuerch had taken some indecent photographs of a female family member on several occasions without her knowledge or consent. Further, after doing so, Schuerch contacted that female family member and “threatened to publish the materials on a pornographic website and threatened to distribute the materials to the victim’s friends, family and co-workers if she refused to send additional photographs,” troopers reported via trooper dispatch.

Following the investigation, troopers located Schuerch at an Eagle River hotel and arrested him in his room. He was charged with “Harassment 2 Domestic Violence, Indecent Viewing/Photography, and Attempted Coercion Domestic Violence,” according to the report.

Schuerch was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer where he was remanded with no bail set.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
