ANCHORAGE, Alaska-The condition of the young girl, who was hospitalized on Friday for drug overdose, is still critical and is described as "dire" by the Assistant District Attorney Regan Williams. She also reports that the girl is on a mechanical respirator. She had marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine in her system when she overdosed.

According to medical staff, the 14 year-old girl has suffered brain and heart damage from an incident that occurred at the residence of Sean Warner, age 26. According to court documents, the young girl, only identified as JD, had been picked up by Warner and two other male acquaintances, and taken back to Warner’s residence.

Once there, according to documents, the three men began doing heroin. During that period, the girl was reported to say that she would be willing to try something new but was unwilling to inject it herself. Warner decided to do it for her and after attempting and failing to inject the girl with heroin, he had her lie down on his bed and put his belt on her as a tourniquet. It was only after several attempts, that he was able to successfully inject her with the drug.

After this, according to reports, the three men left her in the room and did not check on her until the next day. When they did check on her the next day at 9:30 am, they found her face down in a pool of vomit. Attempts to wake her were futile.

It was at that time, according to court papers, that Warner administered the drug Suboxone. Suboxone is a drug commonly used in addiction centers to treat addiction to drugs such as heroin.

Hours later, the young girl began convulsing. That was when 911 was called. The time was 1:30 pm.

Officers who responded to the scene, did not find any incriminating evidence as all of the paraphernalia was locked into the bedroom. The officers were told that the room belonged to a roommate who was not available.

All of the evidence from the scene was later taken from the residence and deposited behind a dumpster according to the investigation. Tis was done by Warner and one of the men present. This evidence was later recovered by the Anchorage Police Department.

According to court records, Warner has been charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor. Those charges include, Tampering with Evidence, Delivering a Controlled Substance to a Minor, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The third felony charged by the court is linked to a theft charge for stolen merchandise from Costco’s earlier in the day before picking up the girl.

Warner remains incarcerated, his bail is set at $90,000. He was appointed an attorney from Gorton&Logue as his public attorney.
