The State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage are looking for a positive identification of remains after their discovery on Sunday.

A report went in to Alaska State Troopers about 1 pm on Sunday reporting the discovery of human remains in North Pole.

There is no further information as to the discovery as of Monday morning.
