Celebrate the rich culture and traditions of Alaska Native people Nov. 11 at the Anchorage Museum’s annual Alaska Native Family Day.

When: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 (Photographers please note: Dancing and drumming performances will end at 3 p.m. The featured performance group, Yurapik Drummers and Dancers, take the stage at 2:30 p.m.)
Where: Anchorage Museum, 625 C St.
Enjoy performances by the Yurapik Drummers and Dancers and Alaska Native Cultural Charter School. Watch Tlingit chef Rob Kinneen give cooking and knife skills demonstrations. Hands-on activities for children include making paper Unangax hunting hats and Yup’ik dance fans. General admission is free all day thanks to Wells Fargo.
