In the early morning hours of Wednesday, Alaska State Troopers received a call of a single vehicle accident near the Old Glen Highway at 4:12 am.

When EMS arrived at the scene south of Maud Road in Palmer, they found and contacted the driver of an over-turned four-wheeler. The driver, 25-year-old Palmer resident Jordon Bishop, was the only person involved in the crash.

By the time troopers arrived on the scene, Bishop was up and ambulatory, but clearly injured. Bishop was transported to the Mat-Su Regional Hospital for treatment of his injuries by EMS personnel.

Bishop’s condition would worsen after being transported to the Mat-Su Hospital however. He would later be transported to the Anchorage Regional Hospital. He is listed in critical condition.
