On Saturday night at about 8:45 pm, Alaska State Troopers responded to Parks Highway near Big Lake Road in order to contact an individual who had left a mental health living facility.
When 28-year-old Bobby Boorman of Wasilla was approached, he produced tow baseball size rocks from his pocket.

Boorman became highly agitated during the trooper contact ans attempted to strike the officers with the rocks. Boorman eventually threw the rocks at the troopers.
Afterr a short pursuit, Boorman was placed into custody and arrested on two counts of Assault III for recklessly placing the officers in fear of imminent serious physical injury by means of a dangerous instrument.
Borrman was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was remanded pending arraignment.
