On Friday night, Alaska State Troopers made contact with a man in a superman costume standing in the middle of the Parks Highway near Crusey Street waving at traffic as it moved by.

After contacting the friendly superhero at 10:39 pm, troopers would find that the man, identified as 23-year-old Wasilla resident Patrick Campbell, was in possession of heroin.

Troopers arrested Campbell for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.

The would be man of steel was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was remanded and bail was set at $1,500.

Campbell was scheduled for arraignment on Saturday afternoon, he posted bail prior to arraignment and the hearing was vacated. There are no details as to the reset date.
