When the Oscala Police Department responded to Sanchez Avenue in Oscala, Florida, they would find a woman in the middle of the road doing yoga exercises in her panties with her pants around her ankles.

The investigation was prompted by a call from a concerned motorist reported that a woman was stripping off her clothing in the middle of the street.

While the woman was doing her yoga poses in the middle of the street, she had left her gold Chevy pickup on the side of the road with the engine running and the driver’s side door open.

When police investigated the vehicle, they would find that the Oscala woman was originally from Texas. Moreover, a look in the vehicle would find several bindles of heroin, syringes, oxycodone pills and a crack pipe in the truck.

When questioned, 51-year-old Michele Cernak admitted that just prior to her deciding to do her exercises in the road, she had injected herself with heroin.

Cernak is being held on $5,000 bail after assuming the position and being placed under arrest last Wednesday.
