Alaska State Troopers were notified of a head on collision on Sunday that occurred at about mile 81 of the Parks Highway.
According to reports, the wreck involved a blue Dodge Dakota and a Jeep SUV towing a trailer.

Apparently, the Dodge crossed the center line into the southbound lane, bounced off of the guardrail in the pullout, which put him back into the traffic in the the southbound lane. The driver of the Jeep traveling southbound, had no time to avoid the crash.
The Dodge had only one occupant. The Jeep SUV had the driver and one passenger.
All three suffered serious injuries, two were flown to anchorage by helicopter.
Troopers did not immediately release the names of those involved.
The accident occurred at 1:30 pm, the highway was re-opened by 4 pm. Traffic was backed up for two and a half hours.
