A North Pole man, Rolin Allison, age 44, was arrested on Tuesday for 31 counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, as well as one count each of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, and Assault in the Third Degree.
The charges stem from an investigation that has been on-going since 2006. The investigation found evidence that Allison had abused at least 4 different children over a period of 13 years. 25 of the cases involve a child under 13. Included is a case of an Assault in the Third Degree charge where there was injury to a child under 10 that required medical transport according to court records.
According to Court documents, this is not the only criminal activity that Allison has been involved in. Court records as far back as 1985, show several assault and criminal mischief charges leveled against him, as well as a multitude of other criminal charges.
Allison was arraigned yesterday in Fairbanks. He is to appear in court again on the 18th of November.
The investigation was conducted by the Alaska Bureau of Investigations.
