At 11:58 pm on Wednesday night, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a man dead near mile 52 of the Glenn Highway near Palmer.
Alaska State Troopers traveled to the scene located 45-year-old Palmer resident Frank L. Pushruk. He was declared deceased at the scene.
Troopers determined that Pushruk had been shot and killed.
There is currently no further information concerning the incident. Pushruk’s remains were transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy and the investigation into his death is continuing.
Pushruk’s next of kin has been notified.
