A Georgia judge set a East Point, Georgia woman’s bail at $10,000 on Wednesday after her arrest on last Monday for posting on her Facebook account “All Black ppl should rise up and shoot at every white cop in the nation starting NOW,” according to court records. She is now out on bond on charges of Dissemination of Information to Facilitate Terroristic Threats.

Her Facebook posting was reported to East Point police by Atlanta police,  and the posting was tracked down to Ebony Dickens, who used the Facebook alias Tracy Morgan, police allege. The postings, made as riots raged through Baltimore, continued, saying, “I condone black on white killing,” according to the posts. “I’ve thought about shooting every white cop I see in the head until I’m either caught by the police or killed by them. Ha!!!! I think I can pull it off. Might kill at least fifteen tomorrow. I’m plotting now.”

When police did a warrant search of the Georgia woman’s apartment, they seized her computers as well as a handgun.

Dickens also posted, “Freedom of speech tho. So when you can absolutely show me in the 1st amendment where it explicitly says you can’t say ‘kill all cops’, then I’ll delete my status. Other than that…. NOPE!”

The judge disagreed with 33-year-old Dickens, who holds a Master’s degree in Legal Studies, and along with the bond, Dickens is barred from utilizing any social media.

The case has sparked further debate on social media free speech rights. The U.S. Supreme Court is currently listening to debates on a Pennsylvania case where a man was convicted after posting threatening remarks about his wife on social media.
