Troopers responded to a disturbance call on Prince Charming Drive during the early afternoon hours of Thursday and arrested a Houston couple for a warrant and DUI charges.
During their 12:38 pm disturbance response in Houston, troopers contacted 43-year-old Huouston resident Kellie Shaw at the rsidence. The trooper investigation found that Kellie had an outstanding warrant for her arrest on charges of Terroristic Threatening II x 2.
The charges stem from an October 18th incident where Kellie made a false report stating that a third person was going to kill her as well as the responding troopers. A Palmer Grand Jury indicted Kellie on the felony charges, after which a warrant was issued for Kellie’s arrest.
While at the residence, troopers also contacted 44-year-old Bruce Shaw. Their investigation found that Bruce had operated his blue 1997 Chevy truck while impaired by alcohol. They also found that Bruce had been driving on a suspended license. Bruce was arrested for DUI and DWLS.
The couple was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where they were ramanded. Kellie’s bail was set at $5,000. Bruce’s bail was set at $2,500. Both are required to have a court-approved third party custodian prior to their release.
