REDDI Driver Arrested on 17 Counts

Alaska State Troopers reported stopping a REDDI vehicle on Saturday night and arresting the driver and holding him without bail for numerous charges.

Troopers responded and pulled over a 1999 Ford F-350 after receiving a REDDI report on the vehicle on Saturday night at 8:43 pm  near Knik Goose Bay Road..

When troopers pulled over the vehicle, they would report that the driver, 33-year-old Kile Thimson, was severely intoxicated and driving recklessly with seven children unsecured in the vehicle.

After further investigation, they would find that Thimson was also driving while his license was suspended.

THimson was arrested and charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, DWLS, Endangering the Welfare of a Child I x7, and Reckless Endangerment x7.

Thimson was remanded to the Mat Su Pretrial Facility without bail.
