Although Alaska State Troopers have identified the remains found on Sunday in North Pole as those of 31-year-old Jenessa F. Kempski, they have not released any information as to her cause of death as yet.
Kempski’s remains were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office for identification non Sunday. The trooper dispatch said on Tuesday that “the cause of Kempski’s death is yet to be determined.”
Court records show that in February 2013, Kempski was the woman who held up the True North Credit Union at the drive-thru window where she passed the teller a bomb threat through the drive-thru’s tube. She received almost $2,200 from the teller. But, made it only a short distance away before being stopped by police at a nearby pawn shop.
Kempski was also convicted of Attempted Vehicle Theft earlier this year after pleading guilty to that charge in September.
Troopers are asking that anyone with information regarding her last known whereabouts to please contact the troopers at 451-5100.
Kempski’s next of kin was notified.
