Six Anchorage residents have been indicted by an Anchorage Grand Jury in a 30-count indictment. Four are currently in custody while two are still at large, Anchorage police revealed on Monday.
Four men, 23-year-old Usugafono Palauni, a.k.a “Shalom” or “Baloney”; 26-year-old Faamolemole Uiese, a.k.a. “Smokey”; 26-year-old David Ekeroma Fatialofa, a.k.a. “Tavita“; and 30-year-old Fale Junior Moevao, a.k.a. “Mako,” were indicted for vehicle thefts and burglaries that took place in March of this year. Two women, Desiree Osburn, 32, and Joslyn Pagaduan, 32, were also indicted on Hindering Prosecution charges by the same Grand Jury.
The men were charged with stealing four different vehicles that they then used to burglarize a reported 12 different businesses in the Anchorage and Eagle River areas. During those burglaries, thousands of dollars worth of property were stolen.
