Alaska State Troopers reported on Monday that they have located and arrested a man who was a suspect in a vehicle theft in Seward.

Iniatialy, troopers asked the public to avoid the Herman Leirer Road area near Seward as they searched for a fleeing suspect. The suspect jumped out of the  vehicle and fled on foot.

At the time, troopers described the suspect as “a 6-foot-tall man with red hair, a red beard, and a black jacket.”
