On Sunday morning at approximately 7:43 am, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Jennifer Drive in Sterling for a report of a disturbance at that location.

Upon their arrival, troopers would find that a woman had been assaulted at the residence.

Officers would place 28-year-old Nick L. Sacaloff under arrest on charges of Assault IV. Sacaloff was transported to Wildwood Pretrial and remanded there with no bail.

Less than five hours later at 12:25 pm, troopers, while at the Central Peninsula Hospital, placed Cora A. Sacaloff under arrest for an active warrant for failure to appear on charges of providing false information.

C. Sacaloff was also transported to the Wildwood Pretrial facility and her bail was set at $500.
