A report of two men aboard the M/V Kennicott seen to have hypodermic needles prompted Alaska State Troopers to go to the Alaska Marine Highway terminal in Ketchikan on Monday afternoon.
When troopers arrived at the terminal, they contacted 49-year-old Washington resident Kenneth R. Bradley and his adult male companion. During their contact with Bradley, it was revealed that Bradley was wanted in Alaska for unrelated charges of Reckless Endangerment.
Troopers took Bradley into custody and transported him to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was remanded on the warrant. His bail was set at $2,500.
Several backpacks were also seized at the scene for what troopers said are “investigative purposes.”
