Alaska State Troopers made an arrest after the investigation of a burglary of the Native store in Teller on Thursday afternoon.

At 3:55 pm on Thursday, Alaska State Troopers arrested 22-year-old Teller resident Paul Weyanna on Burglary , Theft of Merchandise and Criminal Mischief charges.

It was also found that Weyanna was on Felony probation on earlier Burglary and Felony Theft charges. He was arrested on that warrant as well.

Weyanna was transported to the Anvil Mountain Correctional Centter and remanded there with his bail set at $500.

Weyanna is scheduled to appear in Nome court on the new charges on Friday at 1:30 pm.
