Troopers Nab Houston Man on Felony Warrant

trooperarrestAST report that they arrested a Houston man on drug charges and a Felony warrant during a traffic stop on Jesse Road in Wasilla on Friday.

Troopers contacted the occupants of a 2001 Chevy Venture on Jesse Road at 6:08 pm on Friday. During the stop, one of the passengers would supply troopers with a false name. Further investigation of the passenger would find that he was actually 26-year-old Daniel Poe of Houston.

It would be found that Poe had a Felony warrant issued in his name for probation violation. Poe had several petitions to revoke his probation filed in Palmer court since his conviction on Felony Drug Possession charges in August of 2015.

When arrested, it would also be found that Poe was in possession of Methamphetamine.

Poe was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer for the Felony Warrant and additionally charged with False Information, and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.

Poe is in custody in Palmer with his bail set at $20,500.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
