Trooper dispatch reports that troopers with the Criminal Suppression Unit made two arrests at a residence on Williwaw Way on Saturday following an investigation of thefts in the Wasilla area.
Troopers went to a residence on Williwaw Way on Saturday and arrested 22-year-old Raymond Keown III for thefts that occurred on May 9th, 12th, and 19th of this year.
The trooper investigation revealed that Keown had forged and passed a stolen check, had stolen miscellaneous items from a residence, had broken into a residence located on Northshore Drive, stealing multiple firearms that he later sold.
Troopers also arrested 18-year-old Makenzie Langendorf at the residence following a burglary investigation at an East Windridge residence on May 19th. The trooper investigation revealed that Langendorf was in possession of and had cashed a stolen check.
13 stolen firearms and and other stolen items valued at $11,000 were recovered as a result of the trooper investigation.
Keown was charged with Burglary I, Theft II x18, Forgery II, Theft III x5, and Criminal Mischief IV.
Langendorf was charged with Theft II, Theft III, and Fraudulent Use of an Access Device.
