A 36-year-old Fairbanks woman was arrested on several charges after she was determined by troopers to be driving under the influence for the second time this year.
Troopers stopped Yaniris Dubose while she was driving a Silver Kia at the Tanana Lakes Recreation Area after she was reported as the subject of a REDDI Report at 8:12 pm on Sunday evening.
Troopers would determine that Dubose was driving under the influence and when requesting a chemical test, she would refuse to submit a sample.
She was also found to be driving while her license was revoked.
It was also revealed that she failed to provide a child safety seat for a child on-board.
Troopers would find that Dubose was in violation of her conditions of release for a previous, almost identical incident just after the first of the year.
On January 9th of this year, Dubose had been arrested on DUI, Failure to Submit and two counts of Child Endangerment after a traffic stop then. The court case on that incident has yet to be completed. Dubose has already violated the conditions of her release in that case once in June of this year.
Dubose was transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center and remanded on charges of Violation of Conditions of Release, DUI, Driving with License Revoked, Failure to Submit to a Chemical Test and Failure to Provide a Child Safety Seat.
