Kodiak Man Arrested at Disturbance Call Despite Resistance

A Kodiak man didn’t go willingly during an arrest after a disturbance call at that island city on Saturday night.

Troopers responded to a call of a disturbance at a residence near Kodiak on Saturday night at 10:53 pm.

When troopers arrived at the residence and performed their initial investigation, they found that the person causing the disturbance, 28-year-old Isaac Bodi, also had an outstanding $1,000 warrant for his arrest on the charge of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV out of Anchorage.

During his arrest, Bodi assaulted one of the officers and it was also determined that Bodi committed two more acts of Disorderly Conduct during his arrest.

Bodi was transported to the Kodiak Jail and remanded there on charges of Assault on a Police Officer, two counts of Disorderly Conduct, and the Warrant.

Bodi’s bail was set at $2,000 pending arraignment.
