A 49-year-old Big Lake man was arrested for DUI and reckless driving after an investigation in front of the Big Lake Elementary School of a single vehicle rollover accident on Monday.
Alaska State troopers determined that Wayne Robertson “was speeding and passing in a no passing zone when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled several times,” the trooper dispatch reported.
Alaska State troopers and medics responded to the scene in front of the elementary school on Monday. Medics evaluated Robertson at that location, but Robertson refused medical treatment troopers reported.
After his arrest on charges of DUI and Reckless Driving, Robertson refused to provide a sample of his breast, and so the additional charge of a refusal was added to Robertson’s list of offenses.
Robertson was released on his own recognizance.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
