Warrants were issued in Southeast Alaska in connection with an investigation into illegal sport fish guide activities that began in June of this year on Wednesday by Alaska Wildlife Troopers.
Alaska Wildlife Troopers from the Klawock post served multiple warrants for evidence on 66-year-old Michael Stump of Craig that included warrants to seize two 23-foot fiberglass boats that he is charged with using to carry out his illegal sport guide activities.
Stump was charged with 16 counts of sport fishing operator’s license required and 14 counts of sport fish guide license required.
Stump was given a mandatory court date for September 9th in Craig District Court.
The investigation is continuing in the case.
