A Cessna 207 aircraft operated by Hageland Aviation crashed outside of Newtok on Saturday afternoon. The aircraft was carrying four passengers plus the pilot when it experienced its mishap.

It was reported that the pilot of the aircraft, as well as the four passengers, sustained minor injuries in the crash. But, the aircraft itself was severly damaged.
Clint Johson of the National Transportation Board stated that the aircraft had left from Bethel just prior to crashing about a mile and a half outside of Newtok at 4 pm.
The NTSB and FAA are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
