Littering Victim’s Mail Leads to Burglary Arrests for Three

burglary investigationIt was at 9:21 PM on Monday night that the Alaska State troopers received a report of a burglary. The caller reported to troopers that the burglary had occurred within the last 90 minutes on Farmers Loop Road in Fairbanks.

At the same time, the Alaska State troopers also received a separate call reporting a suspicious vehicle in that same area. That vehicle “was observed tossing trash from the window.” The caller also reported to troopers that the trash being thrown from the vehicle’s window was “actually mail belonging to one of his neighbors.”

Troopers located the vehicle a short time later on College Road. When they contacted the occupants of the vehicle, and conducted a short investigation, they observed items in plain view that were identified as items stolen from the Farmers Loop Road residence earlier.

When questioned at the scene, one of the occupants of the vehicle told troopers, that they in fact, were the individuals who committed the burglary earlier.

As a result, “19-year-old Geena Spencer, 42-year-old Christina Heaps, and 23-year-old Lucas Tebo- Carpenter were arrested for Burglary I, and Theft II,” troopers report.

Additionally, Tebo-Carpenter was also arrested for three outstanding warrants, as well as violating his conditions of probation.

All three individuals were remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center, where they were held with no bail set.
