Troopers have deployed an aircraft to search for 31-year-old Napaskiak resident Joshua Evan, who has been missing since May 26th.

The Alaska State Troopers were notified of the possible missing person on Wednesday. It was reported to the Napaskiak VPSO that Evan was last seen walking on the ice of the Kuskokwim River near Sunshine Slough last Sunday.
At that time, Evan had stated that he was walking to the Tuntutuliak fish camps.
Boats and aircraft continued the search for Evan on Thursday, the searchers worked ahead of the ice flow moving through the area. More searches by boat will continue as soon as the flow moves past the area.
