North Pole Man Arrested for Murder in May Death of Four-Year-Old Boy

trooperarrestA 27-year-old North Pole man was arrested on charges of Murder I-Repeat Physical Injury after a 3.5 month investigation into the death a of a North Pole four-year-old, troopers reported on Thursday.

27-year-old Christopher Sadowski was arrested in North Pole on Thursday as the result of the State Medical Examiner’s offices determination  on August 5th that the death of a four-year-old boy on May 5th was a homicide.

The four-year-old boy, who’s name was not released, was reported to troopers by family to be unresponsive at 3:02 am on May 5th. The child was rushed to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, but unfortunately, was declared deceased in the emergency room there.

Because of general policy, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation immediately opened an investigation as the death was unexpected.

Sadowski is scheduled for arraignment at the Fairbanks courthouse on Friday afternoon. He is being held without bail.
