REDDI Driver Arrested on Parks Highway on Numerous Drug Charges

alaska crimew-cuffsAfter a vehicle was forced off of the road by another at mile 38 of thee Parks Highway, the victim called in a REDDI report at 8:50 am on Thursday morning.

Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol in Wasilla responded to the call and pulled over the suspect vehicle on the Parks.

After contacting the driver of the vehicle, identified as 24-year-old Wasilla resident Jessica Dawson, the trooper investigation would find that Dawson had an outstanding warrant for her arrest on charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance V.

While placing Dawson under arrest for the warrant, she resisted the officer, and so was charged with Resisting Arrest as well as the warrant and Reckless Driving.

After her arrest, it was found that Dawson was in possession of numerous controlled substances and evidence of distribution according to the trooper dispatch.

Dawson would subsequently be charged with additional charges of MICS II, MICS IV x2, and MICS V.

Dawson was transported to the Mat Su Pretrial Facility and remanded there with her bail set at $13,000 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
