Three Siblings Arrested on Burglary Charges in Willow Traffic Stop

burglary investigationTwo brothers and a sister were arrested on burglary charges as Alaska State Troopers were responding to a burglary in progress call on Monday afternoon, Troopers reported in the trooper dispatch.

At 1:19 pm on Monday afternoon, a call went in to the Alaska State Troopers reporting a burglary-in-progress at a residence on Willow-Fishhook Road in Willow.

As troopers were responding to the scene, they observed a vehicle southbound on Willow-Fishhook Road and performed a traffic stop. The trooper investigation determined that three people in the vehicle were responsible for the reported burglary.

The burglary investigation found that three suspects “had broken into a detached garage with the intent to commit a crime,” troopers reported.

Subsequently, 36-year-old Andrew Butcher, his brother, 31-year-old Seth Butcher, and a sister, Desirae Butcher, were arrested on charges of Burglary II, Criminal Trespass I, and Criminal Mischief IV.

All three were transported to Palmer, where they were remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, A. Butcher’s bail was set at $1,500, S. Butcher’s bail was set at $1,000 and D. Butcher’s bail was set at $500.

The suspects’ vehicle was seized and impounded awaiting search warrants.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
