Troopers Arrest Palmer Woman for DUI, Endangering after Campground Accident

trooperarrestA Palmer woman was arrested for DUI and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor I, after an accident on Finger Lake View Drive on Wednesday evening the trooper dispatch reported on Thursday morning.

According to the report, 33-year-old Palmer resident, Tali S. Chapman was driving out of the Finger Lake Campground in a 2002 Chevy Avalanche “when she lost control and started to go over the embankment but was stopped by a large tree,” troopers stated.

When troopers responded at 7:18 pm, their investigation found that Chapman was driving under the influence with a seven-year-old child in the vehicle at the time of the accident.  Although both were properly restrained and no injuries were reported, the vehicle suffered damages in excess of $2,000,

Chapman was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where she was remanded with her bail set at $3,000 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
