Troopers Seek Information on Geneva Woods Pharmacy Robbery

Alaska State Troopers have opened an investigation and are seeking information regarding an armed robbery of the Geneva Woods Pharmacy that took place on Monday evening.

Troopers report that at 7:40 pm o Monday evening, they responded to pharmacy on the Seward Meridian Parkway to initiate an armed robbery investigation.

After speaking with the lone victim and witness, Troopers would determine that a single male suspect made a forced entry at the back of the store as the pharmacist was closing up the drug store for the night.

With firearm in hand, the robber ordered the pharmacist to fill up a large tote with all of the controlled prescription medicine, according to troopers.
