Alaska State troopers in Wasilla are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the intersection of Williwaw Way and Tanana Drive that occurred on Wednesday night. They are seeking information from the public to solve that crime.
At 9:42 PM on Wednesday, troopers responded to the mailboxes that are located at the intersection of Williwaw Way and Tanana Drive after a woman there reported being robbed at gunpoint while checking her mail.
The victim described the suspect as being an adult white male wearing dark clothing, and brandishing a firearm. She told authorities that the man” sprung from the nearby wood line” and attempted to rob her at gunpoint while she was retrieving her mail.

he surrounding wooded areas and neighborhoods, but were unsuccessful in locating the armed suspect.
