The Alaska Bureau of Investigation/South Central Areawide Narcotics was contacted by United States Postal Inspector Kim Dallas on Wednesday at 8:49 am. It was then reported that they had in possession a suspicious package.
The referenced package, addressed to David Pratt of Soldotna, according to trooper dispatch, was searched via search warrant by Dallas and was found to contain 79.8 grams of heroin.

A controlled delivery of the package wa performed on Thursday at 3 pm by the Alaska State Troopers Statewide Drug Enforcement, the Soldotna Police Department, the Kenai Police Department and the United States Postal Inspection Service.
Subsequent to that controlled delivery, an arrest was made of 32-year-old Soldotna resident Michael K. Leveque. He was arrested on charges of Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance II, Tampering with Physical Evidence as well as Driving with a Revoked License.
During that contact, 61-year-old Soldotna resident Mark Grieger and 36-year-old Soldotna resident Vincent Greer were engaged.
It was found that Grieger had failed to disclose that he had a .22 caliber revolver in his possession which he failed to disclose when contacted by troopers. He was carrying the weapon in his pants pocket. Grieger was also found to be in possession of 17.1 grams of heroin as well as .5 grams of methamphetamine. Grieger was arrested on charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled SubstanceII and IV and Misconduct Involving Weapons II and V.
Further investigation would find that Vincent Greer had an outstanding warrant issued for Failure to Comply with Alcohol Screening on an original charge of Petition to Revoke Probation.
All three of the men were arrested and remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility pending arraignment.
