A late-night call to troopers on Thursday resulted in an Attempted Murder arrest of a Wasilla man troopers report.
Troopers received a call of an attack taking place outside of a Wasilla school at 10:08 pm. Troopers responded to the scene, where the victim was found to be suffering from multiple stab wounds causing life-threatening injuries.
The The Mat-Su AST investigation would find that 33-year-old Wasilla resident Daniel Cochrane had ambushed the victim as he was leaving work on Thursday night. Troopers say the attack was because of a personal matter that they did not disclose.
Cochrane was located in Palmer by troopers and placed under arrest on Attempted Murder charges. He was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
He is scheduled for arraignment at 1 pm today.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
