Cox was the only defendant named in the two indictments that charge her with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and heroin and other drug related crimes and possession of stolen mail. The indictments stem from an investigation that took place in October of 2012.
Cox is a former employee of the United States Postal Service.
Cox faces a mandatory ten-year sentence on the drug charges and a maximum sentence of five years for the possession of stolen mail if convicted. She can also be fined $250,000 for the mail charge.
The investigation was handled by the Alaska State Troopers and the United States Postal Inspection Service.
