On Wednesday morning, Alaska State Troopers with Palmer patrol were notified of a Grumman Rupp water pump valued at $36,000 that was stolen during the night prior.

After the water pump was reported missing at 11:24 am on Wednesday from the Buffalo Mine Road location, troopers would locate the pump on a Norman Avenue residence location in Palmer.

The trooper dispatch reported that the criminal suppression unit assisted in the recovery of the pump.

Troopers have identified suspects in the theft and charges of Theft ! are forthcoming.
