One Seriously Injured in Cooper Landing Head-On Collision

One driver suffered serious injuries after being involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle in Cooper Landing on Sunday afternoon troopers reported.

Troopers responded to mile 48 of the Sterling Highway following a report of a serious crash at 3:12 pm on Sunday afternoon and found that one man, 63-year-old Dennis D Brandenburger had suffered serious injuries.

AST reports that Brandenburger ” was transported to Providence Medical Center by Lifemed Air Ambulance.”

According to the investigation at the scene, Brandenburger was driving his 1991 Chevy pickup at mile 48 near the Cooper Landing boat launch when he crossed over the centerline and crashed head-long into a Ford F-350 pickup driven by Walter P Lindl, age 61 of Germany.

Lindl and his passenger recceived minor injuries during the crash but declined medical attention.
