Anchorage police are seeking information from the public as to the whereabouts of 40-year-old Alvin Rodriguez-Moya, who they are calling a “person of interest” in a homicide that took place in East Anchorage on Sunday morning.

Police responded to the 3000 block of Penland Parkway at just after 3:30 am on Sunday. When they arrived, they found a deceased male and a adult female suffering life-threatening injuries.

The female, who was not identified, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police state that they “are withholding information specific to the nature of the injuries and the incident at this time until the investigation progresses.” They also report that they have not taken any suspects into custody as yet.

Anchorage police advise that Moya is considered “armed and dangerous” and that the public should not intervene, but to report his location to police. Moya is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’11” and 200 lbs.
