Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak report that they made an arrest on Monday on a Kodiak individual wanted on two $25,000 arrest warrants in the Spruce Cape area in Kodiak.

At approximately 9:26 pm, after receiving an anonymous Crime Stoppers report regarding the location of 20-year-old Bryce Beltran, who was wanted on various charges connected with multiple alleged assaults on March 27th and 29th in the Bells Flats area, troopers responded to the Spruce Cape area and contacted the suspect.

Beltran has been sought by troopers since the March incidences after he fled the Bells Flats area on two separate occasions. Troopers have been seeking information from the public on his whereabouts since that time.

“The first warrant was issued for prior charges of Attempted Assault I-DV, Burglary I-DV, Vehicle Theft I, Assault III-DV, Assault IV-DV, Interfere with a report of a crime involving domestic violence, Criminal Mischief V-DV, and 4 counts of Violating Conditions of Release,” the trooper dispatch reports. 

“The second warrant was issued for prior charges of 2 counts of Assault III-DV, 2 counts of Assault IV-DV, Criminal Mischief V-DV, Unlawful Contact I-DV, Interfering with a report of a crime involving domestic violence, and 3 counts of Violating Conditions of Release,” troopers added.

Beltran was arrested on the warrant charges and transported to the Kodiak Jail where he was remanded and his bail set at $50,000 pending arraignment.
